If you’re in the market for a toy hauler, you probably either have toys or have big plans to get some! Customers often ask us, “What can I fit in a toy hauler?” Different toy haulers have different cargo capacities and they vary greatly in how much weight they can handle. When shopping for a toy hauler, keep in mind how big your toys are and how much they weigh. Let’s take a look at the different RV garage storage capacities available.
Standard Toy Hauler Garage Sizes
The width of toy hauler garages vary but not by much. Most are about 7 1/2 -8 feet across. Where they differ in size is in the length. When browsing through our selection of toy haulers, you’ll see that the garages range in length from 7 feet to 18 feet! The most common sizes, however, run between 10 and 12 feet long.
Look at the specs of the toy haulers you’re interested in for the dimensions of the garage. Also pay attention to the cargo carrying capacity to ensure that they can handle the weight of the cargo that you’re planning to bring along on your trips.
The most popular items that we see our customers loading into their toy haulers are ATVs, side by sides, motorcycles, dune buggies, and snowmobiles. Using the dimensions and weights of these toys, we’ve calculated which toys can fit into which toy haulers to make it easier for you!
